MONCTON, NB—The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (6-4) lost to the UPEI Panthers (6-4) 2-1 in front of 648 spectators at the J.-Louis Lévesque Arena.
It was Olivier-Luc Hache who opened the scoring for the Aigles Bleus with his 3rd goal of the season in the first period.
The Panthers came back strong with two second period goals by Drake Pilon and Matt Brassard. No goals were scored in the 3rd period.
The Panthers' Matt Brassard was named the Subway Player of the Game.
Next game for the Bleu et Or will be Friday, November 11, at home against the Saint Mary's Huskies while the Panthers will be on the road on Wednesday, November 9 against the STFX X-Men.
