Lauren Misener

Lauren Misener is a fourth-year psychology student from Brackley, PEI. She was sensational in the September 27 game against the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women, scoring a game-high 16 points (two tries and three conversions), all in the first half. Misener and the Panthers dominated the X-Women in the first half and took a 26-7 lead at halftime. The match finished in a 26-26 draw.

 

"Lauren has been the epitome of what this year's women's rugby team is about—passionate, joyous, ambitious, fast, gritty. Every word I would use to describe Lauren is what I hope we would describe ourselves as a team," said UPEI Women's Rugby head coach Curtis Lauzon.
