Kyree Thompson

Kyree Thompson, an arts student from North Preston, Nova Scotia, put together a strong all-around weekend, averaging 22.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games against the Saint Mary's University Huskies. The fourth-year guard was at his best on Saturday, January 24, stuffing the stat sheet with 20 points, six rebounds, four assists, and a steal to power a 74-64 win over the Huskies.

 

"Beyond leading us in scoring over the weekend, Kyree did a lot of the things that don't always show up in the box score," said Darrell Glenn, UPEI Men's Basketball head coach. "His defending, rebounding, and constant communication kept us organized and helped us grab an important road win."
