<div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white" data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">UPEI Athletics & Recreation offers Curling as a U SPORTS Partnership Sport with Curling Canada. The department supports the AUS and U SPORTS membership fee cost and offers departmental fundraising opportunities. The Varsity competitive club supports all other associated costs including ice time and travel costs. </div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white"> </div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white">The club will be coordinating practice and competitions to prepare/select a Men's and Women's competitive team for the 2026 Bell AUS Championship hosted by UNB January 15-18, 2026, at the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton, N.B.</div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white"> </div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white">The winners and runners up of the AUS Championship advance to the 2026 U SPORTS Curling Championships February 16-20, 2026. The host and location of that event have not yet been announced.</div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white"> </div> <div data-ogsc="black" data-ogsb="white">Full-time UPEI Students who are interested in participating with the Varsity competitive club team are asked to contact Varsity Coordinator <span data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Ron</span> Annear (annear@upei.ca) or Curling Coordinator Ian Reade (curling@upei.ca).
