Q: What's your daily routine like?

A: I usually wake up in the morning, brush my teeth and go upstairs to have a coffee, yogurt and watch TV with my siblings. Then after about an hour I get ready and go out to the field for my daily workout. Once I'm done with that, I come back and shower, then make some lunch. After lunch, it varies, I mainly try to just stay busy. Whether it's basketball with my little brother or movies on Netflix. I try to avoid being bored for the rest of the day.

Q: What are you doing to prepare for the 2020-21 season?

A: I'm working out every day, trying to stay in shape. I've also been rollerblading a lot since the rinks have been closed.

Q: What (creative) ways are you working on your skill development while at home?

A: I've been rollerblading outside instead of skating and I also work on my stickhandling downstairs in my basement. I've also been using a backpack filled with rocks as my weights to workout.

Q: What is your nutrition program like?

A: Trying to eat as healthy as possible. Also having vegetables or fruit for snacks instead of chips and junk food.

Q: How are you staying connected with teammates, friends and family?

A: Social media and bike rides.

Q: When the anxiety of living during a pandemic gets to be overwhelming what do you do to get through it?

A: I take a step back and focus on doing my part. By staying inside you are reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Q: What's something new you've been doing during this time?

A: I started drinking coffee.

Q: What's the one thing you miss the most?

A: Being on the ice with my teammates.

Q: What's your go-to binge-worthy TV show? Why?

A: The Office. It's a classic and Steve Carell is hilarious.

Q: Best movie franchise to watch while quarantined? Why?

A: Any of the Marvel movies. They are too good to miss!
